I think the version you’ve left for IE is awesome... I’ve often thought about putting a similar message for IE users on my website, just haven’t had the time.
I’ve spent a lot of time just doing fixes for IE, javascript solutions, conditional comments, etc. Sometimes I’m willing to do it, but I can definitely say, that IE 7 just isn’t coming soon enough!
